Up late studying? Joe says…

Raising Canes has easily become one of my favorite fast-food restaurants since starting college! The Canes on 72nd & Dodge is open till 2:00am on weekdays and 3:30am on weekends which is super nice for when I want to eat out late with friends. Some of my favorite memories in college have come from late-night Canes runs. Pro tip: if you order the box combo, swap the coleslaw out for another piece of toast. You'll thank me later!

A coffee rec from Delaney…

One of my favorite places in Omaha is The Mill! Coming from a small town with two places to get coffee, I've made it my mission to explore as many different Omaha coffee shops as possible ;) The Mill has a fun environment while also being spread out and laid-back, making it the perfect place to catch up on homework, or on the latest life events with a friend or two! My pro-tip would be to get an iced chai latte-- in my expert opinion, The Mill's has been the best so far!!

Rena’s got dessert covered…

Sometimes, you're not looking for a full meal, just a quick little sweet treat. If you're like me and have the biggest sweet tooth on planet earth, then a great place to go to satisfy it is Cold Stone. They have tons of different ice cream flavors and many other goodies like brownies and caramel apples. If you're looking for a reward after acing a test, or a pick-me-up after bombing a project, Cold Stone has you covered. The best part - there's one in Aksarben, which is walking distance from Newman! So grab a friend, or a whole group of them, and build some community while enjoying a sweet treat! :)

Tommy with a Nebraska classic…

The nice thing about Omaha is that there are good places to eat everywhere you go! The Newman Center is within walking distance of so many great restaurants. The most dangerous one for me is having a Runza right across the street. One of my favorite things to do on Sundays is getting a group together to go there after the 10:30 AM mass. I used to always just get a Runza, but once I tried their burgers, my life has never been the same. I think they easily make the top-tier of burgers across Omaha. While there are plenty of options, Runza will always get my recommendation!

A health(ier) option from Lily…

After a quick workout at H&K or when I’m craving a chicken and rice bowl, Chipotle is the better choice! This is the perfect place to grab a quick meal, while getting all the nutritious ingredients your body needs to function. I’ve tried both Chipotle and Qdoba, and Chipotle is by far superior! I hope you are able to try it this semester, it’s one of my favorites!!
